A Conversation with the C++ language designer, Bjarne Stroustrup
Bjarne Stroustrup, the designer and original implementer of C++, recently spoke with David I, Embarcadero’s VP of Developer Relations, at the recent CodeRage online developer conference.
They discussed a wide range of topics that centered on the recently-approved ISO C++11 standard: new language features; how C++11 builds on C++’s strengths; how it makes C++ easier to learn, use and teach.
Bjarne also shares his thoughts on application portability, and C++’s ubiquitous presence in the markets.
