What's the actual differences in the ISOs between one of these "for registered users" and "for first time installs"?
If "for first time installs" is a trial version, if I install that trial and then I subsequently purchase and register the product am I missing anything because I used a "for first time installs" ISO?
They're exactly the same. I flag one set as registered user downloads so they show up on the registered user download pages. The other set are open to download so if someone is trying to install for the first time and having problems with the web installer, they can use those ISOs to install from the ISO or make install DVDs.
